Paraphrase.
I’m a bit restless. I still have a much longer post on why a major local media organization is hamstringing themselves by not making their content direct and accessible. Why it’d behoove them to, why they had a chance to do it right from the beginning, corner the hyperlocal market and probably make a pretty penny all while innovating.
It started to unravel and become disjointed so it now sits in a GOOG docs drafts folder for a rainy day.
How did I get here? Like I said, I was restless. I decided to check out Wilson’s re-design. Exceptional as always, it put Django in front of my face again. I’ve always wanted to work with this platform somehow. Specifically, with Ellington. That reminded me about how I couldn’t find something on the web that I know was in print and how much this probably happens to thousands of other people who live close to me. Blah, blah, blah…back to the top of this post.
