The woman, by the way, calls me Jamie because when I left the message I said “This is Katie —, and my dog Jamie has…” When she called me back, she asked “Jamie?” and I said yes because I thought she was making sure she got the right pet, but I guess she was asking if that was ME. Obviously my fault, but now comes the awkward conversation with the potential “oh, you have the same name as your dog” comment.
