the first thing i noticed was how no one uses images of their faces anymore (with the exception of fred thompson this year but i’m sure that’s because he’s an actor).
i’m not sure if this is just a trend shift or if it has to do more with social values. what kind of weight do we associate with an image of someone versus graphic/text representation? maybe it’s an overall change in politics in general. “trust” isn’t a huge sell anymore.
