oh hoi!

i apologize for the infrequency of these posts. one can expect this to be somewhat of a trend until i get less busy (which is obviously not going to happen). i suppose i should finish my little tirade on the state of our nation. i don’t really know what to think anymore. like everyone else, i’ve been desensitized to this all. the constant news coverage is beneficial because it keeps the general public abreast on what is going on. but most of it is repetitive. slowly i’m seeing a regular return of programming on telelvision. slowly i’m seeing my country declare war on an almost unbeatable enemey. this is like the elephant trying to fight off thousands of ants. as many he can squash, he’ll never win. they’ll always outnumber him. now that i think of it, that was a horrible analogy. but i think you understand. we’ve already lost whatever war we think we’re declaring. these terrorists accomplished their goal of disrupting our lives and striking fear in masses. as much as we intensify our national security and change the way we live, we’ll always be a step behind. why start a material war? why waste more lives on something we’re never going to win? true, we may be the most powerful nation in the world. but this is the war we have lost already. i do sympathize for those who lost loved ones and the state of diress our country is floundering in. but. we must shelve our egos. we are not the superpower we once were. we have lost our ability to control ourselves in our opulence. if that makes any sense. bottom line. if we do take military action against these alleged terrorists, it is a futile act. we have already lost.

otherwise, life as i know it is still the same. tennis is a bitch. so are classes. the house is decent. i need a girlfriend. any takers? the site is still the same. der.
